Doutor em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de Brasília, membro do Security Systems Research Group da Florida Atlantic University (www.cse.fau.edu/~security), com o qual realiza pesquisa em conjunto acerca de integração de requisitos de segurança de software e padrões de segurança para design de software. Participou de vários projetos em parceria com a Microsoft, onde pode exercer o papel de coordenador do Centro de Inovação da Microsoft na Universidade de Braília, gerente do programa de melhoria de processo CMMI nível 3 pela parte do Centro de Inovação e consultor para melhoria de processo de desenvolvimento de software com enfoque em segurança para parceiros Microsoft. Além de MCP, é analista de código treinado pela Fortity Software. Adicionalmente, ministra a disciplina de Segurança de Aplicações para a especialização Gestão da Segurança da Informação e Comunicações oferecida pelo Departamento de Ciência da Computação da UnB.

OWASP Vibe

The OWASP collaborative way to leverage software security mindset has seduced me since 2007, when I got involved in the OWASP Top 10 translation to PT-BR. Since then, I've been trying to give my cents to community, and the WebGoat 5.1 translation to PT-BR is one of them.

Bio

I'm a professor at Universidade de Brasilia. I reached the Electrical Engineering PhD degree in 2009. At that phase I could employ a collaborative research with the Centre for Research in Information Architecture (CPAI) at Universidade de Brasilia and the Security System Engineering Group at Florida Atlantic University.
