5th Annual OWASP KartCon 2010

When: July 29th 2010 7:30pm - 11pm
Where: FastLap - 4288 Polaris Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89103-8100
RSVP CLICK HERE
Have you ever raced a 50 mph gas powered go-kart around a 45,000 square foot indoor race track? Race for best time - Race for best crash - Race for fun This is your chance to sit down, strap in and race for the finishline to "Rev Up" for DEFCON or to put energy back into you after Blackhat ;) -- if someone gets in your way after all it is SIN CITY so AT YOUR OWN RISK "for educational purposes etc... you know the drill" doors open at 7:30pm
7/14/2010 - Here is the updated plan:
Starting at 7:30pm we will kick off the event by giving out wristbands first come first served to ticket holders and group racers in 15 teams of 10 people A,B,C,D,E,F etc... Fastlap requires every racer to attend a safety briefing and then you will be approved to race. The letter assigned on your wrist band will act like a speedpass to estimate when your team should assemble and be ready to race! Enter drawings to win prizes!
Guests are welcomed and encouraged to attend however at this time the event is at capacity based on the race schedule we do not expect to be able to squeeze anyone in as a "extra" however the tailgate party BBQ, Drinks and Music will open to everyone, please no explosives this year!!
I really would like to extend a THANK YOU to supporters of this event (listed above)
This group supported this wacky racing social event focused on the application security community, so be sure to thank them for continued support of OWASP Foundation Inc.
