Here is some sample code that can be used to detect IE1.
String myInputParameter = ...;
//the execution of this line will throw an exception if an attack is found
boolean isAttack = AttackDetectorUtils.verifyXSSAttack(myInputParameter);
if (isAttack) {
notify user ... ???
}
