Often, when we approach potential presenters, we tend to get the following response – “I don’t think my topic is interesting enough”We just want to stress that as long as the topic is security related – we’re all ears!  We’re just a bunch of nice people wanting to learn/share our knowledge of the security domain.  So if you would like to present or know of someone that does, please contact us.

''My name is Greg Pedley and I work for IBM.  I have come to Australia from Canada where I had spent 4 years living and breathing web application security.  I had become a part of the IBM Software Group via an acquisition of an organization called Watchfire, a leader in automation software. I intend to take a half hour of your time to discuss my experience within Web Application Security over the last 5+ years.  I have a unique knowledge of this space from a sales perspective, but my intention is not to sell software.  I'd like to have an open presentation / discussion about the progression of web application security, previous and current trends, black box vs. white box methods, etc.

There will be a social/networking gathering after the talk. Everyone is welcome to attend!

I look forward to meeting everyone.''
