"Comparison of secure development processes" by Ken van Wyk, KRvW Associates. Ken is a CERT® Certified Computer Security Incident Handler, as well as an internationally recognized information security expert and author of the popular O'Reilly and Associates books, Incident Response and Secure Coding: Principles and Practices, as well as a monthly columnist for eSecurityPlanet. Among his numerous professional roles, Ken is a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is a course instructor and consultant to the CERT® Coordination Center.

"Protecting your applications from backdoors", Shawn Hank from Veracode. Backdoors and malicious code pose operational risk to software at a level too significant for organizations to ignore. The common practices of outsourcing and using third-party libraries are making modern application development increasingly complex. As a result, it is nearly impossible for an enterprise to identify the pedigree and security level of the software running their business-critical applications and handling their customers' personally identifiable information. Shawn will discuss different attack and detection methods.
+
"Protecting your Web Applications and Databases", Mark Salinas, Imperva. Databases contain the crown jewels of an organization, which means a possible break-in by insiders or outsiders. There are commonly used methods to attack databases. Defend against these, and your databases will be virtually impenetrable. Mark will cover the most prominent application and database security threats and how they are carried out. He will also show how to create a blueprint for implementing a comprehensive application and database protection plan. During this session Mark will provide a live Application and Database hacking demonstration of SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, Discount Cookie Poisoning and several other application level attacks on a web site that was created specifically for this purpose.
