Tin Zaw is a Senior Technical Architect with AT&T’s Chief Technology Office. Currently, he works as the security architect for AT&T Interactive, an online advertising arm of AT&T with over one billion dollars in annual revenue, and leads company wide web application security program.

Before AT&T, Tin worked in software engineering for about 14 years at companies such as Qualcomm, Inktomi, Symantec and MySpace. At Symantec, Tin was part of the team that developed intrusion detection technologies that are now part of all Norton security products.

Tin has been the President of OWASP Los Angeles Chapter since 2010 and co-chaired AppSec USA 2010, the premiere national conference of OWASP. He also currently chairs OWASP’s Global Chapter Committee.

Tin is an Executive MBA candidate at USC Marshall School of Business and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Pittsburg State University, Kansas. Tin is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).
