Revision as of 13:57, 27 May 2011

I'm Group Fraud & Information Security Adviser at SFR (Vodafone Group), France's second-biggest Telecom Operator and 1st European alternative Operator.

I've been an active member of OWASP since 2004. I'm actively contributing to the OWASP Top Ten Project as French translator since the first version of 2004, and to other stuff described below.

Chapter Leader OWASP France and Member of the OWASP Global Connections Committee.

I started working with the OWASP Foundation end of 2003 and initiated the first translation of the OWASP Top Ten in another language, in French. Then, I also carried out the French translation of the Top Ten 2007, as well as the Top Ten 2010 translation.

I created the OWASP France Chapter beggining of 2004 and grew it from 2 peers to over 300 members rapidly through its mailing list. I also created a group for the French Chapter on LinkedIn in Jan 2009.

Then in May 2008, I decided to register The OWASP France Chapter as a not-for-profit organization called “Association Loi 1901 reconnue d’utilité publique” in France with Sébastien Gioria, this to protect the OWASP brand/name from misuses in France.

As Chapter's Founding member, I was appointed Vice-Président of the French Chapter and Project Leader responsible for Translations.

The French Chapter fully complies with the OWASP Foundation’s bylaws, and our activities are directly inline with the OWASP core mission of spreading awareness.

Please see my LinkedIn profile here to see more about me, background, areas of expertise including snapshots of achievements.

Feel free to email me at Ludovic Petit, I'd be glad to help if needed.
