I am senior lecturer and currently academic coordinator of Informatics Faculty at the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2006) and my primary research interest is in Natural Language Processing, acting on the following topics: text mining, machine learning, syntactic and semantic analysis of natural language.
