According *Different Categories of IoT Devices* I'd suggest a categorisation like
- 1. security for (vital) safety
- 2. security for privacy
- 3. security for properties (any other gimmicks)
For example a pacemaker would go to no 1., your social security number to 2., the camera or lightbulb with WLAN to 3. But wait, what about the refrigerator which contains your insulin?
