::To confirm that an article is orphaned, follow the "What links here" link in the "toolbox" at the bottom of the left side menu. If the "toolbox" is truncated, like it is on some pages, insert 'Special:WhatLinksHere/' into the URL of the page, after 'index.php/' to get the "What links here" page. If it says "No pages link to ..." then the article was indeed orphaned.
