Welcome to the Scotland chapter homepage. The chapter leader is Rory McCune <paypal>Scotland</paypal>


Participation

OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

Local News

June Chapter Meeting

The OWASP Scotland June chapter meeting is all set for Thursday the 25th.

Venue is Ernst & Young - 5th floor, 10 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2DZ

Timings will be :-

Doors open 6:30pm - have a chat and a coffee

Talks start at 7:00pm - At the moment we've got Mungo Carstairs lined up to give us some thoughts on AppSec Europe which he attended in Poland, Rory McCune to do a talk on some of the newer features in Metasploit and Colin Watson to do an introduction to the OWASP Global Industry Committee.
