GreenSQL - an open source database security gateway

GreenSQL is an Open Source database firewall used to protect databases from SQL injection attacks. The logic is based on evaluation of SQL commands using a risk scoring matrix as well as blocking known db administrative commands. The following presentation will cover unique techniques used to identify illegal queries and well give a good review on the MySQL security.

Yuli Stremovsky is a database security expert. He is responsible for design, development of novel database protection solution - GreenSQL. He is experienced security consultant that worked for a number of leading financial institutions, telecom and health service companies. In the past, he was also involved in software development in a number of start-up companies including development of the security products.
