TOPIC A: Challenges to Encrypting Data at Rest

  • Description: There are two basic solutions for encrypting data--assymetric (like PKI) and symetric. There are benefits and consequences associated use of either solution. The point of today's discussion is to explore what it means to encrypt data in a state of rest, and what the immpact of the various types of solutions would mean.
