Khairul Nadzmi (nadzmi) is the co-founder of rawSEC, a community platform which aims to inculcate and empower the local infosecurity talent. rawSEC focuses on nation capacity building where anybody can be an infosecurity professionals regardless of their education background. Nadzmi is currently working with a regulator for the National Financial Sector where he oversees threats and trends for the capital market.

I@Secure CyberCampaign 2018 - Malaysia

IIUM will host I@Secure CyberCampaign 2018 in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia from 18 April, 2018 in collaboration with OWASP Malaysia. The events will gather student, lecturer, leaders, security experts, executives, technical thought leaders, developers, scientists and researchers for in-depth discussions of cutting-edge application security issues. About 200 people are expected to attend the events. exhibition and lunch will be held at the summit, providing sufficient networking opportunities.

CALL FOR Presentation

ISCC2018 will be a major national forum for the presentation of research results, cutting-edge ideas and in-depth discussions in the field of cyber security. ISCC2018 Conference invites cyber security researchers, thought leaders and developers worldwide to submit papers for the opportunity of presenting to expected participants.

The topics we are seeking include, but are not limited to:

Dr Aswami Ariffin (DrAA) is a digital forensics scientist with vast experience in security assurance, threat intelligence, incident response and digital forensic investigation with various law enforcement agencies/regulatory bodies and provided expert testimonies in court. Due to his immense contribution in cyber security and fighting cybercrimes, DrAA was awarded ISLA - Information Security Leadership Award in 2009 by (ISC)2 USA including commendation letter from the Attorney General's Chambers Malaysia and a certificate of appreciation from the Royal Malaysia Police in 2010. He is also appointed as an expert referral with the New South Wales Police, Australia and a member of Interpol Digital Forensics Expert Group.

Currently, DrAA is Senior Vice President of Cyber Security Responsive Services at CyberSecurity Malaysia. He provides input on strategic direction, technical leadership and marketing strategy for Digital Forensics Department (CyberCSI), Malaysia Computer Emergency Response Team (MyCERT – Cyber999) and Secure Technology Services (STS – CyberDEF). DrAA is regularly consulted by the government, industries, universities and media on cyber security issues, strategies, research and development; also invitation as keynote speaker in conferences and providing expertise in community work.

ASP Nasrul Mohd Isa join PDRM since 2007 as Investigation Officer at Computer Crime/Internet/Intellectual Property, Cyber & Multimedia Crime Investigation Division, JSJK, PDRM Bukit Aman. His involvement on multiple cases of cyber crime including cyber fraud, online scammer and related online crime make him understand on how the crime modus operandis and how it make a threat to Malaysian Citizen especially. His task to enforce, detect, prevent all this crime and assist any case to court. With his vast experience about cyber crime he will share on PDRM perspective on Cyber Crime in Malaysia.

Mohammed Fadzil Haron serve 21 years security veteran, with multi national company experiences to include Intel Corporation, energy industries and banking. GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GCED, GCFA, GPEN and CISSP certified, he is also the only Malaysian who is the GIAC Gold Advisor and SANS Subject Matter Expert, besides SANS Advisory Board member.
