COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
Who Recommends/Name Role in OWASP Recommendation Content
1 Jeremy Epstein Leader, Northern Virginia Chapter I recommend Mark Bristow for a position on the OWASP Global Conferences Committee based on his past contributions as the leader of the Washington DC chapter. Mark reinvigorated this somewhat moribund chapter, showing that he has the necessary leadership skills.
2 Matt Fisher OWASP Member I recomend Mark Bristow for a position on the OWAS Global Conferences Committee based on his past contributions as an OWASP chapter leader.
3 Rex Booth DC Chapter Co-Chair Mark's enthusiasm and drive for the APSEC DC conference would be an excellent asset for this committee.
4 Doug Wilson DC Chapter Co-Chair Mark would be an excellent candidate. He is already working to expand OWASP's reach and goals locally in Washington DC, and has helped the local chapter get back on its feet. He is currently the driving force behind working on creating an AppSec DC conference, and has devoted a lot of personal time and effort to making the DC Chapter a better organization. Working with the Conference Committee would be a great next step for OWASP to benefit from his drive and interest.
5 David Sachdev DC Chapter Member Mark is an ideal candidate for many reasons, but in part because of his great enthusiasm, his knowledge, as well as his ability to convey that knowledge to others. He is an excellent person to help shape the way that information is conveyed to others - and how to reach out to the community.
