Local News

Happy New Year to all, especially members of the Albany OWASP Chapter.

A huge thank you and well wishes goes to Susanna Bezold. Suzanna started the Albany Chapter a few years ago and until the recent change over in leadership, was the Chapter Founder and Leader. Since November, the reigns have been passed on to me, Steve Thomas to revitalize and re-infuse the Albany Chapter.

First off: We had a great meeting of members with Jim Manico on November 16, 2015 and look forward to revitalizing the Albany Chapter. A huge thank you goes out to Jim for attending this revitalization kick off meeting and also for supplying the Pizza!

Secondly: I am looking for volunteers and also fielding ideas to help revitalize the Albany OWASP chapter. Look for a new meeting notice shortly as well as an OWASP "get together" in your in box shortly.

An informal "get together" can produce some good results in looking to kick-start this Chapter. While I have ideas and thoughts, I want to make this a pure community effort with input from all members.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me in person or via email via this link: Steve Thomas
