Currently performing following Tasks & Responsibilities: 1. Analyze business and technical specifications/requirements and develop enterprise-level eCommerce solutions. 2. Develop Magento customization and UI changes. 3. Contribute to technical solutions and requirements definition; solve complex problems by contributing to analysis and development of technical solutions. 4. Meet regularly with company owners to provide understanding of technical requirements, processes, dependencies, status updates, and reports on development and discuss project/product objectives and time-frames. 6. Back-end and front-end Magento development. 15. Develop and optimize sites for tablet and mobile devices. 16. Create a fantastic user experience for website visitors. 17. Ensure back-end systems are efficient and robust. 18. Build site’s social features. 19. Liaising with third parties such as designers.
Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of internet browsers, FTP; SSH; Apache; nginx; DNS; PHP; JavaScript; HTML5; CSS3; MySQL Server; Linuz, MacIntosh and Windows Operating Systems and CVS/SVN. • Expert knowledge of Object Oriented principles. Experience with PHP frameworks such as Zend Framework. • Expert knowledge of Design Patterns and Application Lifecycle. Remaining up to date on internet, browsers, Windows, and visualization technologies is vital to the job. The individual must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. • Zend and/or Magento experience. • Experience of XML-RPC, REST, SOAP and other web services. • MySQL, including EAV data structures. • JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and/or Prototype. • Experience of managing and promoting effective use of version control systems. • Experience developing, supporting and maintaining complex, scalable web applications. • Extensive experience of the development lifecycle. • Ability to define, interpret and develop software to written requirements and technical specification. • Expert understanding of XHTML and CSS3. • Minimum 5 years of PHP 5/Magento and MySQL programming. • Experience with working on complex functional software projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies. • Experience developing web-based applications. • Must be an independent, self-motivated team player that is meticulous and methodical in creating solutions. • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
