To promote outreach and evaluate potential technologies and partnerships, Noreen and fellow OLG team members, John Ulmer and Janine Medina, represented OWASP at the Gateways 2016 conference at the San Diego Supercomputer Center in November 2016. The team presented the OWASP Learning Gateway project during formal sessions and Noreen led a mentoring session during the open breakout sessions on the final day of the event. Noreen is active in the OWASP Mentoring Committee, serving as a mentor in the Brooklyn chapter as well as developing the overall mentoring program as a way to bring in new members and develop the skills of those entering or transitioning to the field.
