I started contributing to ZAP as my google summer of code(2018) project. The project is about an authentication helper add-on which automatically detects and configures the appropriate authentication method in ZAP. The add-on also allows the pen-tester to quickly verify if the authentication is configured correctly via the authentication status scanning feature. A guided configuration feature is also added to aid the pen-tester to set up the authentication method manually.<br />
