Daniel Cuthbert has been involved with OWASP since the start and was responsible for the OWASP Testing Guide. He is currently the Assessment Manager for SensePost in South Africa and is responsible for penetration testing, code reviews and general security consulting.

He is familiar with the SDLC approach and has trained extensively in subjects ranging from security assessments to secure development guidelines and approaches.

He holds two Masters degrees and a fascination for shoes.

Danie's experience ranges from application security assessments, threat modeling and security training. He is familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and has trained developers in understanding where threats are introduced into the life cycle and how they can prevent common attacks from taking place.
