Dr. Boris Hemkemeier is working as Director in the business oriented Information Security Consulting and Research Group within Commerzbank. His areas of work are security of internet applications, online banking, combatting cyber crime, usable security and the security of payment systems. He is a supporter of OWASP since the first European OWASP Conference at Royal Holloway, 2005.

In the German OWASP Chapter he co-organized the German OWASP Days and chaired the German OWASP Day 2015 in Frankfurt.

Before joining Commerzbank Boris studied mathematics and analytical philosophy in Bielefeld and Dortmund. He holds a PhD in mathematics with a thesis in computational number theory.
