Όντας ένας μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός, ακολουθεί την ιδεολογία του Ελεύθερου/Ανοικτού λογισμικού, παρέχοντας δωρεάν αλλά επαγγελματικής ποιότητας έγγραφα, εργαλεία και πρότυπα. == Call for Presentations / Πρόσκληση Υποβολής Προτάσεων για Παρουσίαση ==

We are issuing a Call for Presentations for anyone interested in delivering a talk. The requirements are as follows:
- The talk needs to be about APPLICATION SECURITY (web, mobile or desktop)
- Talks can be about defence as well as offence
- Target audience should be developers, security practitioners and anyone else interested in improving application security.
- The talk needs to be maximum 1 hour long (including demos, Q/A etc)
- The presentation slides need to use OWASP branding
- No company / product / service promotion
- One slide and one slide only can be dedicated to providing a short description of the presenter (i.e. employer name, experience, etc)
- If tools will be mentioned and / or used during demos, if these are commercial tools, we recommend providing free alternatives (even though these might not be used). Example: if Burp Suite Pro is used, a reference to OWASP Zap or Burp Suite Free can be made.
- The presentation slides need to be in English
- The actual talk can be in Greek if and only if all participants are Greek-speakers (hence, the presenter should be prepared to give their presentation in English )
- You need to comply with the OWASP Speaker's agreement (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Speaker_Agreement)

Anyone interested should:
- drop us a line at one of the above email addresses with the title of their talk and a brief description (can be bullet points) of their presentation; we will then review the proposal and give provisional approval.
- After provisional approval is obtained, the presenter must submit their slides for technical review by the 8th of March 2018. Following the technical review, final approval will be given.
- If the presenter would like to prepare a "homework" list for more enthusiastic participants, this should be sent to us ASAP. Example: if the presenter will use interactive demos (where participants can follow along) and they want specific software to be installed before the event.

For this event we will only choose two talks, HOWEVER, if you submit a proposal that gets final approval we will line you up for the next technical talk. The more proposals we get = the easier it will be to arrange future technical talks = everyone (who likes technical stuff) wins.

- Πρέπει να αφορά την ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΩΝ (web, mobile or desktop).
- Μπορεί να αφορά την άμυνα/προστασία καθώς και τις επιθέσεις προς τις εφαρμογές.

- Μετά τη λήψη της προσωρινής έγκρισης, ο παρουσιαστής πρέπει να υποβάλει τις διαφάνειες του για τεχνική εξέταση έως τις 8 Μαρτίου 2018. Μετά την τεχνική εξέταση, θα δοθεί τελική έγκριση.
- Εάν ο παρουσιαστής θα ήθελε να ετοιμάσει λίστα προεργασίας θα πρέπει να μας σταλεί άμεσα. Παράδειγμα, εάν ο παρουσιαστής θα χρησιμοποιήσει διαδραστικές/πρακτικές ασκήσεις (όπου οι συμμετέχοντες θα μπορούν να ακολουθήσουν) και χρειάζεται να εγκατασταθεί συγκεκριμένο λογισμικό πριν από την παρουσίαση.

Για αυτή την εκδήλωση θα επιλεχθούν μόνο δύο ομιλίες. Εντούτοις, αν η πρόταση σας λάβει τελική έγκριση και δεν επιλεχθεί, θα σας δοθεί η ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσετε σε μελλοντική εκδήλωση. Όσες περισσότερες προτάσεις υποβληθούν τόσο πιο εύκολο θα είναι να οργανωθούν μελλοντικές τεχνικές ομιλίες.

We are issuing a Call for Presentations for anyone interested in delivering a talk. The requirements are as follows:
- The talk needs to be about APPLICATION SECURITY (web, mobile or desktop)
- Talks can be about defence as well as offence
- Target audience should be developers, security practitioners and anyone else interested in improving application security.
- The talk needs to be maximum 1 hour long (including demos, Q/A etc)
- The presentation slides need to use OWASP branding
- No company / product / service promotion
- One slide and one slide only can be dedicated to providing a short description of the presenter (i.e. employer name, experience, etc)
- If tools will be mentioned and / or used during demos, if these are commercial tools, we recommend providing free alternatives (even though these might not be used). Example: if Burp Suite Pro is used, a reference to OWASP Zap or Burp Suite Free can be made.
- The presentation slides need to be in English
- The actual talk can be in Greek if and only if all participants are Greek-speakers (hence, the presenter should be prepared to give their presentation in English )
- You need to comply with the OWASP Speaker's agreement (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Speaker_Agreement)

Anyone interested should:
- drop us a line at one of the above email addresses with the title of their talk and a brief description (can be bullet points) of their presentation; we will then review the proposal and give provisional approval.
- After provisional approval is obtained, the presenter must submit their slides for technical review by the 8th of March 2018. Following the technical review, final approval will be given.
- If the presenter would like to prepare a "homework" list for more enthusiastic participants, this should be sent to us ASAP. Example: if the presenter will use interactive demos (where participants can follow along) and they want specific software to be installed before the event.

For this event we will only choose two talks, HOWEVER, if you submit a proposal that gets final approval we will line you up for the next technical talk. The more proposals we get = the easier it will be to arrange future technical talks = everyone (who likes technical stuff) wins.

We are issuing a Call for Presentations for anyone interested in delivering a talk. The requirements are as follows:
- The talk needs to be about APPLICATION SECURITY (web, mobile or desktop)
- Talks can be about defence as well as offence
- Target audience should be developers, security practitioners and anyone else interested in improving application security.
- The talk needs to be maximum 1 hour long (including demos, Q/A etc)
- The presentation slides need to use OWASP branding
- No company / product / service promotion
- One slide and one slide only can be dedicated to providing a short description of the presenter (i.e. employer name, experience, etc)
- If tools will be mentioned and / or used during demos, if these are commercial tools, we recommend providing free alternatives (even though these might not be used). Example: if Burp Suite Pro is used, a reference to OWASP Zap or Burp Suite Free can be made.
- The presentation slides need to be in English
- The actual talk can be in Greek if and only if all participants are Greek-speakers (hence, the presenter should be prepared to give their presentation in English )
- You need to comply with the OWASP Speaker's agreement (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Speaker_Agreement)

Anyone interested should:
- drop us a line at <email> with the title of their talk and a brief description (can be bullet points) of their presentation; we will then review the proposal and give provisional approval.

- If the presenter would like to prepare a "homework" list for more enthusiastic participants, this should be sent to us ASAP. Example: if the presenter will use interactive demos (where participants can follow along) and they want specific software to be installed before the event.

== Call for Presentations / ==
= English =
We are issuing a Call for Presentations for anyone interested in delivering a talk. The requirements are as follows:
- The talk needs to be about APPLICATION SECURITY (web, mobile or desktop)
- Talks can be about defence as well as offence
- Target audience should be developers, security practitioners and anyone else interested in improving application security.
- The talk needs to be maximum 1 hour long (including demos, Q/A etc)
- The presentation slides need to use OWASP branding
- No company / product / service promotion
- One slide and one slide only can be dedicated to providing a short description of the presenter (i.e. employer name, experience, etc)
- If tools will be mentioned and / or used during demos, if these are commercial tools, we recommend providing free alternatives (even though these might not be used). Example: if Burp Suite Pro is used, a reference to OWASP Zap or Burp Suite Free can be made.
- The presentation slides need to be in English
- The actual talk can be in Greek if and only if all participants are Greek-speakers (hence, the presenter should be prepared to give their presentation in English )
- You need to comply with the OWASP Speaker's agreement (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Speaker_Agreement)

Anyone interested should:
- drop us a line at <email> with the title of their talk and a brief description (can be bullet points) of their presentation; we will then review the proposal and give provisional approval.
- After provisional approval is obtained, the presenter must submit their slides for technical review by the 8th of March 2018. Following the technical review, final approval will be given.
- If the presenter would like to prepare a "homework" list for more enthusiastic participants, this should be sent to us ASAP. Example: if the presenter will use interactive demos (where participants can follow along) and they want specific software to be installed before the event.

For this event we will only choose two talks, HOWEVER, if you submit a proposal that gets final approval we will line you up for the next technical talk. The more proposals we get = the easier it will be to arrange future technical talks = everyone (who likes technical stuff) wins.

Καλούνται ενδιαφερόμενοι ομιλητές να υποβάλουν την πρόταση τους για παρουσίαση, η οποία θα πρέπει να ακολουθεί τα εξής :
- Πρέπει να αφορά την ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΩΝ (web, mobile or desktop).
- Μπορεί να αφορά την άμυνα/προστασία καθώς και τις επιθέσεις προς τις εφαρμογές.
- Θα πρέπει να στοχεύει κοινό που περιλαμβάνει προγραμματιστές, επαγγελματίες στον τομέα της ασφάλειας και οποιοδήποτε άλλο άτομο που ενδιαφέρεται να βελτιώσει την ασφάλεια εφαρμογών.
- Πρέπει να έχει μέγιστη διάρκεια 1 ώρας (συμπεριλαμβανομένων των ασκήσεων/επιδείξεων, ερωτήσεων/απαντήσεων κτλ.).
- Οι διαφάνειες παρουσίασης πρέπει να χρησιμοποιούν το εμπορικό σήμα OWASP.
- Δεν πρέπει να προωθούν εταιρείες / προϊόντα / υπηρεσίες.
- Μόνο μια διαφάνεια μπορεί να αφιερωθεί στην παροχή σύντομης περιγραφής του παρουσιαστή (π.χ. Όνομα εργοδότη, εμπειρία)
- Εάν τα εργαλεία που θα αναφερθούν ή / και χρησιμοποιηθούν κατά τη διάρκεια των πρακτικών ασκήσεων (demo) είναι εμπορικά, προτείνουμε να αναφέρετε δωρεάν εναλλακτικές λύσεις (έστω και αν αυτές δεν χρησιμοποιηθούν). Παράδειγμα, αν χρησιμοποιηθεί το Burp Suite Pro, μπορεί να γίνει αναφορά στο OWASP Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) ή Burp Suite Free.
- Οι διαφάνειες παρουσίασης πρέπει να είναι στα αγγλικά.
- Η ομιλία μπορεί να είναι στα ελληνικά αν και μόνο οι συμμετέχοντες είναι όλοι ελληνόφωνοι (επομένως ο παρουσιαστής θα πρέπει να είναι προετοιμασμένος να κάνει την παρουσίασή του στα αγγλικά).
- Ο παρουσιαστής πρέπει να είναι συμμορφωμένος με τη συμφωνία ομιλητή του OWASP (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Speaker_Agreement).

Όποιος ενδιαφέρεται πρέπει:
- Να επικοινωνήσει μαζί μας στην ακόλουθη ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση <email> με τον τίτλο της ομιλίας του και μια σύντομη περιγραφή της παρουσίασής του για εξέταση (για προσωρινή έγκριση).
- Μετά τη λήψη της προσωρινής έγκρισης, ο παρουσιαστής πρέπει να υποβάλει τις διαφάνειες του για τεχνική εξέταση έως τις 8 Μαρτίου 2018. Μετά την τεχνική εξέταση, θα δοθεί τελική έγκριση.
- Εάν ο παρουσιαστής θα ήθελε να ετοιμάσει λίστα προεργασίας θα πρέπει να μας σταλεί άμεσα. Παράδειγμα, εάν ο παρουσιαστής θα χρησιμοποιήσει διαδραστικές/πρακτικές ασκήσεις (όπου οι συμμετέχοντες θα μπορούν να ακολουθήσουν) και χρειάζεται να εγκατασταθεί συγκεκριμένο λογισμικό πριν από την παρουσίαση.

Για αυτή την εκδήλωση θα επιλεχθούν μόνο δύο ομιλίες. Εντούτοις, αν η πρόταση σας λάβει τελική έγκριση και δεν επιλεχθεί, θα σας δοθεί η ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσετε σε μελλοντική εκδήλωση. Όσες περισσότερες προτάσεις υποβληθούν τόσο πιο εύκολο θα είναι να οργανωθούν μελλοντικές τεχνικές ομιλίες.
